Marchesa founder Georgina Chapman, MINE editor Astrid Joss with Marchesa founder Keren Craig
A rainy London afternoon was brightened by a beautiful bridal tea hosted by Marchesa co-founders, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, alongside Browns Bride founder, Caroline Burnstein. Guests were treated to a typically British afternoon tea on the terrace of the Marks Club, whilst models walked in a salon style type of show, giving a glimpse of new bridal SS19 gowns for the very first time.
An air of etherial romance lifted the atmosphere as we saw pearl embroiled lace columns and ball gowns layered with sheer tulle, and magically each dress being paired with a specifically designed veil. Trains were long and full, necklines plunging and detailed while skirts full and dramatic. Once again Marchesa didn’t disappoint whilst Georgina Chapman said she was ’thrilled to be back home showcasing the collection.’
