Alberta Ferretti - Take a break

Versatility within beauty was the name of the game. For this coming Spring / Summer season, Ferretti shows us how to holiday in style. From pretty rainbow pastel light and airy day dresses to slinky uber glam yet equally casual long cocktail party numbers, right through to the more active ‘on tour’ look with so many appearances of the cargo trousers. The array of beautiful fabrics that can be taken from the street to the beach in cotton and silks with elevated silhouettes will leave you wanting to take the entire season off. OR year.

Dolce & Gabbana - It’s in the genes

Sicking to their true genetics and playing on what they have coined “DNA”, Dolce & Gabbana showed how for them its more about continuing their heritage style rather than focusing on new trends. With this we were shown their updated bustier style in both dresses and tops in which they continue their 50s and 60s sexy silhouettes all within keeping to their true Italian style - black lace, floral prints, brocade, jacquard tailoring and of course we personally love the religious undertones which they do best. With a garden theme underway, lashings of colour paraded down the runway on both models, influencers and social royalty.

Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini - Girl’s world

With their feminine and delicate detailing, of peeping lace bralet’s and ruffles Philosophy embraces sex appeal with cropped sheer tops and playsuits. As Serafini described his vision of ideal female fashion being one that embraces the free spirited girl who is proud to show off her figure yet is not precious. Sticking to a simple colour palette of black, whites and blues with this seasons hottest trend, snakeskin, appearing in several of the runway looks, the coquettish message of youth was loud and clear.

Missoni - The lightness of being

With a soft palette of light knitting and overlay of layered pieces, 65 years of world famous knits and still each season we are inspired and surprised. Each piece from floor length gowns to knitted pants in light tones and shades of blue gracefully moved down the runway. There’s a lot to be said of a brand that continues to capture the heart of the fashion world with their signature looking appealing to all ages and defying bold new trends.

Fendi - F is for Fendi

Fendi was as chic - and active -  as ever. Offering a mega luxury yet totally working wardrobe we were shown how to be glam on the go. Rarely do the two meet.  Again the cargo trend appeared with a contemporary attitude.  Mixing it up with the famous F logo, branding is here to stay as well as the most instagrammed biker short look on Bella Hadid. Model’s walked the runway with perfectly styled top knots and the most needed accessory worn in all different ways -  the belt bag.
