We asked you to submit your burning questions about Victoria Magrath from InTheFrow.com for her to answer...
SINCE STARTING YOUR BLOG, HOW DO YOU FEEL IT HAS EVOLVED AND IN TURN HOW HAVE YOU EVOLVED?
It’s evolved massively since day ONE. Back then I covered primarily beauty. Over a year or so it became a mixture of fashion, beauty and lifestyle and the design of the site became a lot slicker and clean. Then I started to transition in my own styling as I matured into a mid 20’s woman. I realised what I liked and didn’t like, and began to dress in a way that showed my true personality. So the only changing I did, was growing up and finding myself.
HOW LONG WOULD YOU SAY IT TOOK YOU TO WHERE YOU GOT TO?
I’m still growing and adapting and moving with the times. So I haven’t reached a destination to truly say how long it’s taken. I suppose it’s taken since the start, so over 6 years at this point for me.
WHEN DID YOU REALISE “IN THE FROW’ WAS BECOMING A CAREER?
Around 2 years into blogging, when a number of brands started to pay attention to what I was creating, I realised that potentially it could be a future opportunity. I took the plunge and I’m so glad that I did.
YOU HAVE A DEFINITE LOOK - WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT IT AND WHY AND WOULD YOU CONSIDER CHANGING ANYTHING AND IF SO WHAT?
Oh thank-you. I guess my ‘look’ has always reverted around my hair style. Back when I used to have purple hair, that was my key trait. And now my short silver hair is very much me. I like to change up my hair to match the time I think.
YOU JUST LAUNCHED YOUR FIRST BOOK, WHAT NEXT BIG THING DO YOU WANT TO CONQUER?
I have so many dreams for my future as this industry continues to change. But I have aspirations to one day launch my own fashion line. You never know; but I trend to prefer aiming high.
WHO INSPIRES YOU THE MOST IN THE INDUSTRY?
I’m greatly inspired by Victoria Beckham’s impeccable style and work ethic, and I take a lot of inspiration from so many bloggers and models on the daily.
FAVOURITE PART OF YOUR JOB?
Getting to meet other like minded people wherever I go.
DO YOU EVER WISH YOU’D HAD THE EXPERIENCE OF WORKING AT A BIG PUBLISHING COMPANY LIKE CONDE NAST?
I once worked as an intern for Company Magazine and it was an amazing summer. But I must admit I adore working for myself.
FAVOURITE OTHER INFLUENCER ASIDE FROM YOURSELF?
I love everything that Sandra - 5inchandup creates - creativity and originality is lacking in this industry sometimes and I feel Sandra never sticks to the mould.
HOW DO YOU STAY FIT?
In all honesty I haven’t for a while now due to a tough work schedule, but I’ll be back onto it as soon as 2019 hits. I’ll be going back to a plant based diet, attending regular yoga, pilates and gym sessions and getting my fitness back to tip top again. It just puts me in a much better mental place. But I also adore Barre classes if I can fit them in.

WHAT MAKES YOU WANT TO GET MARRIED?
I think it’s just the thought of being even more connected to my other half than ever before. And to have that one moment to celebrate that with friends and family around us.
TELL US HOW ALEX PROPOSED?
We were riding bikes around Stanley Park in Vancouver when we stopped off at an incredible vantage point that looked back across the sea towards Vancouver city skyline. We decided to take a shot together in front of the skyline to remember the moment, so Alex set up his camera, set it to record and as we jumped in the air to get a fun mid-air photo together, he jumped down on one knee. And we therefore got the whole thing on camera. It was perfectly ‘him’,
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE DRESS FROM THE SHOOT?
I would have to say that out of these particular 11 dresses, all of them were incredible but I feel that the Suzanne Neville v neck was definitely the most me. It made me swoon as soon as I saw it.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE ELEMENT OF THE PENTHOUSE?
From the lavish bathroom to the impeccable view from the balcony, to the winding staircase and the sheer size of the suite, I have never seen a more decadent hotel room. It was divine.
AFTER TRYING ON ALL THE RESSES ON THE MINE SHOOT, DO YOU HAVE A BETTER IDEA OF WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO WEAR ON THE BIG DAY?
There are so many styles I adore at the moment. A deep V neck like the Suzanne Neville dress or a sweetheart neck like Phillipa Lepley. I also adored the bandeau shape of the Stewart Parvin dress, so in other words, I’m still clueless as to what might be best for me. But I’m excited to find the one. Or two….!!
DO YOU HAVE A DECOR VISION FOR THE WEDDING?
Yes absolutely. Something between French chic and Ethereal Italian, that’s what I’m calling it! Candles, twinkling lights, delicious foods, wild flowers, linens, ribbons and the French countryside.
