Gucci - MASKED

It was a serious combination of fabric, textures, colorus and shapes at Gucci's A/W 19 show. Both male and female models walked the runway, wearing masks that completely covered their faces, making each model completely equal and a true mannequin for the collection.

Fendi -TRIBUTE TO KARL

It was a tough week for everyone, but especially for the Chanel and Fendi teams that had to say goodbye to their beloved Karl Lagerfeld, Silvia Venturini Fendi cried as she took an emotional bow at the end of the show, naming the collection 'A Love Letter to Karl" with traces of Karl throughout the collection such as pointed shirt collars, and laser cut leather. Karl will forever live on through Fendi.

Alberta Ferretti - WHITE OUT

It was the decade that influenced many designers this season, the 80's. Ferretti stepped out of her comfort zone for this season, focusing more on day wear than evening wear. From fringe detailed sweaters, wide brim flat hats, cowboy boots, almost each look was finished off with a belt. The main takeaway from the show is that white only in summer is no longer a rule.

Philosophy - A MINI EDGE

This season we saw something new from Lorenza. We're used to his romantic style with lace and soft materials, this season he edged things up with mini skirts and leathers, but staying true to his style with light lace cami's and blouses to balance the looks.

Missoni - TRUE TO FORM

As always, Missoni stayed true to their signature and gave us a mix of knits in patterns and colours, and nor do we mind. Angelia Missoni's idea for this collection was to go back to something clean and elegant, and that she always does.
